Job summary

Salem-Oceanic Industries Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage inventory flow and coordinate production schedules in our Metro Manila operations. You will ensure timely arrival of raw materials and maintain optimal stock levels to support manufacturing efficiency.

Responsibilities include generating POs, monitoring stock levels with MRP systems, and collaborating with production, sales, purchasing, and R&D teams to align material availability with delivery goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management and production planning.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple departments to ensure material availability.
• Strong negotiation and supplier liaison skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages inventory flow, coordinates production schedules, and ensures raw materials arrive on time to keep manufacturing operations running smoothly.
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, track materials using MRP systems, and maintain optimal inventory balance to avoid shortages or excess storage costs
• Generate and process purchase orders (POs) for raw materials, parts, and assembly items based on production needs.
• Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or excess, ensuring optimal material flow.
• Work with production, sales, purchasing, and R&D teams to align material availability with manufacturing goals and delivery schedules.
• Liaise with suppliers to negotiate prices, manage lead times, track delivery performance, and resolve shipping or quality issues.
