Job summary

onsemi is seeking a self-driven Materials Planner to join the Materials Planning team in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure a continuous supply of materials to support customer requirements while optimizing inventory costs and assisting productivity improvement initiatives and NPI.

This role interfaces across the organization and is an individual contributor position with growth opportunities, reporting to the supervisor in the Philippine facility.

Qualifications

• BS in Industrial Eng or related field.
• 2–3 yrs experience in Supply Chain Planning (Materials/ Prodn).
• Goal oriented in fast paced environment.
• Good communication and cross functional teamwork.
• Good problem solving and critical thinking.
• Good presentation skills.
• Programming skills an advantage (macro, visual basics, advanced excel, ms access, database management).

Responsibilities

• Oversees activities related to the purchase of material, material control, and inventory control.
• Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems.
• Ensures materials are ordered and in stock to fulfill demand, while maintaining optimum inventory levels.
• Develops material schedules and coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, logistics, production planning, manufacturing and engineering.
• Reviews and plans requirements for material procurement.
• Prepare material requirement plans using MRP system.
• Continuously develop and present productivity improvement projects to support Cost Savings & Delivery KPIs.
• Handles other responsibility as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
