Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc in the Philippines is seeking a Tactical Planner to manage customer demand, schedule Sales Orders, and align production with lead times and material availability within an ERP-driven environment.

You will review PPOs, confirm new Sales Orders within turnaround times, maintain planning tools, respond to inquiries, and collaborate across Production Control, Subcontractors, and Shipping to keep on-time delivery and high-quality results in a fast-paced semiconductor setting.

Qualifications

• BS Industrial Engineering degree with 2-3 years in production control, preferably in semiconductor.
• Experience in production planning and control in a semiconductor environment is valued.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; ERP experience a plus (Microsoft Dynamics Axapta).

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule Sales Orders based on lead times, priority, and material availability.
• Review and release PPOs to subcontractors to meet delivery dates.
• Ensure timely review and confirmation of new Sales Orders.
• Maintain planning tools and document delays and changes.
• Coordinate with Shipping and Logistics to resolve issues affecting shipment schedules.
