Job summary

First Sumiden Circuits Inc. is seeking a skilled Materials Planner with strong experience in materials planning and inventory control.

The role focuses on developing material plans, maintaining optimal stock levels, and coordinating with production, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in materials planning, preferably in electronics, and is proficient in MS Office with sharp attention to detail and analytical thinking.

Qualifications

• 5+ yrs experience in Materials Planning, preferably in electronics company
• College Graduate; BS Industrial Engineering is an advantage
• Knowledgeable in inventory control, inventory limit and material inventory turnover
• Keen to details with good analytical and critical thinking
• Capable of generating WIP reports and related material reports
• Can work with minimal supervision and communicate effectively

Responsibilities

• Material Planning & Scheduling: Develops and implements material plans (MRP) based on production schedules and demand forecasts to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Inventory Control: Oversees inventory accuracy, tracking, auditing, and management to minimize holding costs while avoiding shortages.
• Process Improvement: Develops and refines processes, workflows, and procedures within the materials planning department.
• Operational Coordination: Collaborates with Production, Procurement, Engineering, and Warehouse to align material requirements with business goals.
• Problem Resolution: Resolves complex supply chain issues and escalated operational problems.
