This role executes material requirements planning (MRP), coordinates replenishment schedules with Procurement, and proactively resolves supply risks for raw materials, packaging, and imported finished goods.
Material Requirements Planning: Execute daily MRP routines in SAP/ERP to calculate material requirements and replenishment priorities based on sales demand, lead times, and production plans.
Replenishment & Order Management: Coordinate purchase orders, planned quantities, and delivery schedules with Procurement to secure supply while preventing stockouts or excess inventory buildup.
Inventory Control & Policy Execution: Maintain target stock parameters, reorder points, and coverage levels (~3 months standard, adjusted for long-lead items) to optimize working capital.
Supply Risk Mitigation: Track delayed purchase orders, import shipment risks, and potential material shortages to implement prompt recovery plans and protect production timelines.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align daily with Production Planning, Procurement, and Logistics to resolve supply constraints, adjust schedules, and communicate inventory risks.
Master Data & System Integrity: Govern material master data, bill of materials (BOM) parameters, and stock reconciliations in SAP to maintain accurate system visibility.
New Product & Transition Support: Assess material readiness and delivery timelines for new product launches, trial runs, packaging transitions, and imported FG rollouts.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
Experience: 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in supply chain, materials management, or finance functions.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP/ERP planning modules, spreadsheet modeling, and basic-to-intermediate data analysis.
