Job summary

First Sumiden Circuits, Inc. in the Philippines (Cabuyao, Laguna) seeks an experienced Materials Planning Lead to oversee material planning activities and lead a team of planners. Responsibilities include maintaining optimal inventory levels and ensuring timely raw material orders.

You will develop MRP-based plans aligned with production schedules, coordinate with Production, Procurement, Engineering and Warehouse, and drive process improvements to reduce costs and prevent shortages.

Qualifications

• BS Industrial Engineering degree preferred.
• Minimum 8 years experience in Materials Planning, preferably in electronics.
• Knowledgeable in inventory control, inventory limits and turnover.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and critical thinking.
• Knowledgeable in conducting material WIP counting and can generate reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
• Good people handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, mentors, and trains material planners to ensure accurate and timely raw material ordering.
• Develops and implements material plans (MRP) based on production schedules and demand forecasts to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Oversees inventory accuracy, including tracking, auditing, and managing inventory levels to minimize holding costs while avoiding shortages.
• Develops and refines processes, workflows, and procedures within the materials planning department.
• Collaborates with Production, Procurement, Engineering, and Warehouse department to align material requirements with overall business goals.
• Resolves complex supply chain issues and escalated operational problems.

• College Graduate, BS Industrial Engineering an advantage
• With at least 8 yrs experience in Materials Planning preferable in electronics company
