Henkel in the Philippines is seeking a Material Master Data and Packaging Specialist (Data Management) to maintain accurate SAP master data across purchasing, MRP, and sales views. You will manage lifecycle processes, support data clean-up, and collaborate with stakeholders for continuous improvement in data quality and processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate execution of activities aligned with SLAs.
• Maintain and update material master data in SAP across multiple views (purchasing, MRP, sales, storage, QM).
• Manage material lifecycle processes including creation, deletion, reactivation, and mass data uploads/downloads.
• Act as key point of contact for stakeholders, addressing inquiries and providing solutions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather required data and monitor workflows.
• Generate reports and support data clean-up activities with proper documentation.
• Collaborate with Team Leads/Managers to drive continuous improvement initiatives and data quality goals.

About this Position

As a Material Master Data and Packaging Specialist (Data Management), you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of material master data that supports day-to-day business operations. Your work helps maintain seamless processes across supply chain, procurement, and production by ensuring that essential data is reliable, up to date, and aligned with business needs. You will be part of a collaborative and fast-paced team, working closely with stakeholders, master data experts, and process owners. This role offers the opportunity to engage in cross-functional coordination, solve data-related challenges, and drive continuous improvements in data quality and processes. It’s a great fit for someone who values precision, teamwork, and contributing to efficient and high-quality service delivery.

What you´ll do

• Ensure timely and accurate execution of activities aligned with service level agreements (SLAs)
• Maintain and update material master data in SAP across multiple views (e.g., purchasing, MRP, sales, storage, warehouse, QM) based on business inputs
• Manage material lifecycle processes including creation, deletion, reactivation, and mass data uploads/downloads
• Act as key point of contact for stakeholders, addressing inquiries, performing root cause analysis, and providing effective solutions
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather required data, monitor workflows, and communicate updates on material activation
• Generate reports and support data clean-up activities while ensuring proper documentation and process updates
• Collaborate with Team Leads/Managers to drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to GBS+ quality goals

What makes you a good fit

• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or related courses
• Preferably with one (1) year of related work experience in Master Data Management from a shared service industry
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required
• Experience in technical reporting and analysis using Microsoft and Power BI as well as experience in using VBA Macros, SAP Scripting is an advantage
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English; Must be a team player with good skills in time management, analysis, and had great attention to details
• Amenable to work on a day-shift schedule (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) and report on a hybrid work set-up in Ayala Avenue, Makati
