Job summary

OSM Manufacturing Philippines Corp. is hiring a Material Planner to coordinate material requirements, forecast-driven planning, and procurement activities. You will manage POs, monitor supplier performance, and collaborate across functions to maintain seamless production flow.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in material planning/procurement, strong MRP knowledge, and proficiency with ERP systems. English fluency and analytic mindset are essential for this fast-paced manufacturing role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Execute material planning activities based on forecasts and production requirements to ensure uninterrupted supply.
• Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor fulfillment to meet delivery schedules.
• Identify and mitigate material supply risks including shortages and delays to support production and customer delivery.
• Collaborate with Sourcing, Production, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics to ensure material readiness and resolve shortages/quality issues.
• Manage inventory levels and optimize stock health through safety stock control and E&O management.
• Lead shortage management and escalation processes with timely recovery actions.
• Track and analyze key supply chain KPIs such as material availability, supplier on-time delivery, and inventory turns.

• Execute material planning activities based on demand forecasts, MRP outputs, and production requirements to ensure uninterrupted material supply.
• Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs), monitor order fulfillment, and drive suppliers to meet committed delivery schedules.
• Proactively identify and mitigate material supply risks, including shortages, delivery delays, and capacity constraints, to support production and customer delivery commitments.
• Collaborate with Sourcing, Production, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics teams to ensure material readiness and resolve material shortages/quality issues.
• Manage inventory levels and optimize stock health through effective control of safety stock, excess & obsolete (E&O) inventory, and inventory turnover.
• Lead material shortage management and escalation processes, ensuring timely recovery actions and risk communication.
• Track and analyze key supply chain KPIs, including material availability, supplier on-time delivery (OTD), inventory turns, and shortage performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, inventory utilization, and operational execution.
