Job summary

Octal Philippines Inc. is seeking a Data Governance Specialist to enforce data quality standards and lead master data initiatives across enterprise systems in Metro Manila.

You will collaborate with IT, procurement, finance, and external vendors to streamline data flows, review changes for audit readiness, and train teams on data standards. The role requires 3–5+ years in data management, strong SQL and ERP experience (SAP/Oracle), and a CDMP credential is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Experience: 3–5+ years in data management, master data governance, or business analysis roles.
• Technical: SAP/Oracle ERP systems, data profiling tools, and SQL.
• Soft: Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management abilities.
• Certifications: CDMP is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Data Governance: Enforce data quality standards, policies, and procedures across enterprise systems.
• Process Optimization: Resolve complex master data issues and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with IT, procurement, finance, and external vendors to streamline data flows.
• Quality Assurance: Review and approve master data changes while monitoring compliance and audit readiness.
• Training & Support: Act as the primary escalation point and advisor for operational teams regarding data standards.
