Job summary

Mezen Realty & Development Corp. in Metro Manila is seeking a proactive Procurement Data Specialist to manage master data and support importation processes within our procurement function.

You will coordinate with international suppliers and internal teams to ensure data accuracy and timely shipment documentation. The ideal candidate has a relevant degree and practical exposure to logistics, customs, and import/export documentation, with strong Excel skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in customs, logistics, or related field is required.
• Internship or relevant experience in logistics, customs, importation, or supply chain ops is a bonus.
• Basic knowledge of import procedures, customs regulations, and import/export docs.
• Familiarity with customs clearance and shipment processes is advantageous.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and update item and vendor master data in the procurement system (Odoo).
• Ensure proper naming conventions and prevent duplicates or inactive entries.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Accounting, and others for data approvals and updates.
• Conduct regular audits of masterfile records to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Generate reports related to vendor and item data.
• Assist with data cleanup and system maintenance as needed.
• Coordinate with international suppliers, customs brokers, and logistic providers regarding shipment schedules and required documentation.
• Prepare and review import documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
• Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with customs and government regulations, including permits and tariffs.
• Maintain accurate import records and trackers for audits and reporting purposes.
• Assist in resolving shipment delays, discrepancies, and documentation issues.
