Job summary

Citigroup in the Philippines seeks a senior Controls Governance professional to join our Cross-disciplinary Controls team. You will liaise with front office contacts and internal partners to strengthen governance and risk oversight across the business.

You will identify opportunities to optimise processes, implement improvements, and assess risk with emphasis on compliance and safeguarding assets. Collaboration across Markets will drive organisational objectives and clear, timely communications

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience within financial services, compliance or audit.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex risk and control activities.
• Understanding of Citi’s Policies, Standards, and Procedures.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do

What we’ll need from you

• At least 3 years of relevant experience within financial services, compliance or audit.
• Self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area.
• Good knowledge in the development and execution for controls.
• Experience in control related functions in the financial industry.
• Experience in executing sustainable solutions.
• Understanding of compliance laws, rules, regulations, and best practices.
• Understanding of Citi’s Policies, Standards, and Procedures.
• Good analytical skills to evaluate complex risk and control activities and processes.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
