Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a DRO Markets Regulatory Controls Analyst (Reference Data Services) in Metro Manila, Philippines. The role involves monitoring and evaluating processes and data to ensure regulatory obligations are met, identifying gaps, and formulating policies.

You will work with Sales, Relationship Management and Compliance to complete due diligence for client records and sub-accounts. Entry-level to 2 years’ experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with regulatory

• Conduct client profile reviews for customer accounts.

• Partner with Sales, Relationship Management and Compliance to assist with due diligence and regulatory requirements.
• Update internal forms/files and client profiles in line with policy requirements.
• Follow up with clients to ensure information is received before due date.
• Oversee and contribute to customer data across multiple systems and teams.

The DRO Markets Regulatory Controls Analyst (Ref Data Services Analyst 1) is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Reviews records of Markets’ clients to ensure fulfillment of regulatory obligations. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Researches and interprets factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team. In this role, you’re expected to:

• Conduct client profile reviews for customer accounts
• Review all information and documentation ensuring compliance with local/global regulationand Citi standards
• Create and maintain records by obtaining information from internal and external sources(firm website, regulatory websites, etc.)
• Partner with Sales, Relationship Management and Compliance teams to assist with thepreparation, development, due diligence and regulatory requirement of each record
• Update internal forms/files and related client profiles in adherence to policy requirementsand/or internal policies
• Follow up with clients to ensure information is received before prescribed due date
• Day to day oversight and contribution to creation and maintenance of customer accounts,security and pricing data within multiple systems across multiple teams.

Markets Reg Controls performs reviews of client records to fulfill regulatory obligations and comply with Citi Standards.

Responsible for opening and maintaining customer sub-accounts or product pricing setups, and actively ensuring that customer/product data details and settlement instructions across a variety of systems remain up to date.

0-2 years working experience.

Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.

Experience with compliance and regulations is more preferred.

Familiarity with the financial markets is more desirable.
