Job summary

Macquarie Group in Manila is seeking a Surveillance professional to perform trade, electronic communications and voice surveillance, supporting the Global Surveillance team in daily review and analysis of firm activity and patterns indicating market abuse.

You will manage alerts, escalate issues, and collaborate with local and Global teams to enhance alert quality and minimize false positives, contributing to a robust risk management framework.

Qualifications

• A degree in Business, Finance, Economics or similar.
• Relevant experience in a compliance or regulatory role with a focus on detection of potential risks, especially market abuse and manipulation, is an advantage
• Analytical and investigative mindset
• High attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex verbal information
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake Trade, Electronic Communications and Voice surveillance to assist the Global Surveillance team with day-to-day review and analysis of firm activity.
• Manage daily/weekly volume of alerts and elevate matters to a successful conclusion.
• Collaborate with local and Global Surveillance teams to improve alert quality and reduce false positives.
