Job summary

Talent Titans is seeking a Vessel Accountant to manage day-to-day finances for a fleet of vessels in the Philippines. You will process invoices, track budgets, reconcile payroll docs, and prepare month-end adjustments to ensure accurate reporting.

You should have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience, and familiarity with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial activities for an assigned fleet of vessels, including processing vendor invoices, budget tracking, and fund request preparation.
• Review and reconcile payroll-related documentation from vessels (e.g., portage bills) and perform month-end adjustments.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Handle vessel portfolios with moderate levels of financial and reporting complexity.
• Coordinate reporting with internal teams and vessel stakeholders to meet requirements.
• Produce monthly vessel accounts, reconciliations, and variance analyses and share them with departments and vessel owners.
