Fleet Management Training Institute Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Vessel Accounting Officer to maintain accounting records for a portfolio of vessels and manage relationships with ship owners.

The role focuses on timely financial reporting, reconciliations, and collaboration with internal departments. The ideal candidate has a degree in accounting, 2+ years in core accounting, and hands-on experience with ERP systems like Oracle or SAP; strong English communication and multitasking skills are

Competenze

• Degree in Accounting & Finance or related fields.
• 2+ years of experience in core accounting and preparation of financial reports; shipping industry experience is an advantage.
• Solid knowledge of Financial Reports, Cash Flow Reports, Budget vs Actual Reports.
• Working knowledge of ERP like Oracle, SAP, etc. is preferred.
• Experience implementing digital solutions like accounting automations, invoicing workflows, PowerBI, Tableau.
• Experience with Ship Management / Shipping Industry is an added advantage.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Able to multi-task and meet tight reporting deadlines.

Mansioni

• Wholly responsible for day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of vessels and manage relationships with Ship Owners on vessel accounting matters.
• Prepare monthly vessel financial reports, cash flow statements, budget variance reports, and submit to Technical departments and vessel owners within deadlines.
• Perform Balance Sheet / Fund Balance Reconciliations and respond to Ship Owners’ queries.
• Submit finalized vessel financial reports to Ship Owners on time and assist in external/internal reporting as required.
• Assist Reporting Manager with monthly MS reporting activities and ad-hoc reporting tasks.
