Job summary

Eastern Pacific Shipping Pte. Ltd. in Manila seeks a detail-oriented Executive to join our Technical Services and Procurement team.

The role centralizes fleet support, procurement of stores, spares, and provisions, and ensuring seaworthy vessels with class and statutory compliance. You will coordinate end-to-end purchasing, source suppliers, negotiate prices, and keep accurate records in the JIBE system, supporting dry-docking planning and vessel handovers.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in a relevant discipline.
• At least 2 years of procurement experience within ship management.
• Solid knowledge of technical, purchasing, and logistics processes in maritime contexts.
• Strong numerical aptitude with analytic and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate class and flag compliance activities, including surveys, inspections, and certificate monitoring.
• Prepare draft specifications for vessel modifications to meet Class and Statutory requirements.
• Support sale and purchase activities, including flag changes, ownership transfers, and vessel handovers.
• Manage offland items for repair and service from sourcing to payment closure.
• Assist Superintendents in dry-docking activities, including planning and documentation closure.
• Issue and manage Purchase Orders for stores, spares, provisions, and bonded stores.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate prices and year-end rebates.
• Coordinate delivery logistics with Operations and Fleet Personnel.
• Maintain Supply Logs and Vessel Expense Reports in compliance with audits.
• Administer ISO procedures and Company policies across technical and purchasing processes.
