TE Connectivity Manufacturing Philippines, Incorporated in Batangas is seeking a hands-on Engineer to support the plating production team. You will help implement process improvements focused on yield, equipment efficiency, scrap reduction, and tooling qualification, while providing technical input to resolve production issues and document actions taken.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in plating processes or a related manufacturing environment.
• Graduate of any Technology-related course.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies is an advantage.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.
• Ability to interpret technical documents, procedures, and process specifications.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process performance, product quality, and operational efficiency.
• Generate simple technical reports and provide updates on production issues and implemented solutions.

About the role

Support the Engineering team in implementing process improvement activities focused on yield improvement, equipment efficiency, scrap reduction, new product qualification, and tooling qualification. The role shall also provide technical expertise in resolving plating production issues and generating simple reports to inform the Manufacturing Engineer of the problems encountered and the immediate corrective actions taken.
