Job summary

Callaway Golf Company seeks a seasoned Process Engineer to analyze, develop and optimize production processes on-site. You will lead improvement projects, implement standard work, and balance lines to boost efficiency while ensuring safety and quality.

The role emphasizes Lean manufacturing, data analysis with Excel/Power BI, and collaboration with Quality, Maintenance and EHS to meet operational goals. On-site availability is required.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Process/Manufacturing Engineer or similar.
  • Industry experience in manufacturing, assembly, automotive, metal-mechanical, electronics or appliances.
  • English between intermediate and advanced; suitable for technical meetings and reports.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, develop and improve production processes for efficiency.
  • Lead cost-reduction, productivity and waste-reduction initiatives.
  • Create and maintain work instructions, standards and documentation.
  • Perform time and motion studies, line balancing and capacity analysis.
  • Contribute to Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and continuous improvement.
  • Optimize layouts, material flows and workstation ergonomics.
  • Lead new product/process introductions, validations and line starts.
  • Track KPIs: OEE, scrap, yield, productivity, efficiency, cycle times.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Production, Maintenance and EHS on issues.
  • Support customer audits and certification requirements.

Key responsibilities
  • Analyze, develop, and improve production processes to increase operational efficiency.
  • Identify and execute cost-reduction, productivity improvement, and waste-reduction projects.
  • Develop and implement work instructions, operating standards, and technical documentation.
  • Perform time and motion studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis.
  • Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Optimize layouts, material flows, and workstations with a focus on safety and ergonomics.
  • Lead new product and process introduction activities, validations, and line start-ups.
  • Track manufacturing indicators: OEE, scrap, yield, productivity, efficiency, and cycle times.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Production, Maintenance, and EHS to resolve operational issues.
  • Support customer audits, applicable certifications, and internal documentation requirements.
Profile requirements
  • Education Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or related degree.
  • Experience Minimum of 5 years as a Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or similar role.
  • Industry Manufacturing, assembly, automotive, metal-mechanical, electronics, or appliances.
  • Language Intermediate-advanced English; B2 or higher preferred for technical meetings and reports.

Availability On-site; availability to support the shop floor, line changes, and special projects.

Technical knowledge:
  • Lean Manufacturing, time and motion studies, line balancing, layout, root cause analysis, flowcharts, process documentation, drawing interpretation, advanced Excel. Six Sigma Green Belt, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, AIAG Core Tools, AutoCAD, ERP/MES, Power BI, Minitab, or statistical software. Experience in automation, NPI, CAPEX projects, manufacturing cells, poka-yokes, SMED, and scrap reduction.
