Job summary

Lear Corporation is seeking a Production Coordinator to efficiently coordinate and supervise SMT and Backend operations, ensuring adherence to the production schedule, resource optimization, and compliance with quality, safety, and environmental policies.

The role involves supervising shop floor personnel, coordinating with Warehouse and Logistics for material flow, monitoring KPIs, and driving continuous improvements through Lean initiatives. Strong collaboration and audit support are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related engineering field.
• Minimum +3 years of experience in electronics industry coordinating production or manufacturing (SMT/Backend).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate compliance with daily and weekly production schedules.
• Ensure availability of materials, tools, and personnel to meet objectives.
• Supervise shop floor personnel ensuring quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with Warehouse and Logistics to maintain material flow.
• Monitor KPIs such as efficiency, scrap, cycle time, and on-time delivery.
• Identify deviations and implement immediate corrective actions.
• Participate in SMED, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing improvements.
• Support new working methods to optimize time and resources.
• Communicate production goals, schedule changes, and priorities to the team.
• Facilitate follow-up meetings with supervisors and operators.
• Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety policies.
• Support audits (ISO, CTPAT, IATF 16949).
• Coordinate with Quality and Maintenance to resolve production issues.
• Promote continuous training in quality and operational standards.

Job Description
