Job summary

Sourcefit is seeking a Senior Accountant to serve as the primary contact for customer and vendor accounting, collaborating with an offshore bookkeeping team. The role emphasizes manufacturing knowledge, strong communication, and general accounting expertise with occasional hands-on support.

The position is work-from-home with a Monday–Friday schedule aligned to Manila time. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in accounting and experience with manufacturing workflows and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of general accounting experience.
• Manufacturing industry experience with understanding of sales orders, work orders, inventory and assembly builds.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for customer/vendor conversations.
• Solid accounting knowledge and ability to explain invoices, billing, payments, and balances.
• Ability to coordinate with offshore accounting team and follow through on inquiries.
• Willingness to learn company's ERP systems and information needs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for customer and vendor accounting inquiries, including direct phone conversations.
• Explain and address questions related to invoices, billing, account balances, payments, and transactions.
• Review accounting information and work with the offshore team to investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate follow-up between customers, vendors, and the accounting team to address billing concerns.
• Understand manufacturing workflows to explain related transactions (POs, SOs, WOs, inventory, builds).
• Handle customer payment and collection conversations in coordination with the team.
• Provide occasional hands-on accounting support while the team handles routine processing.
