Job summary

NCR Voyix Corporation is seeking a Manual Tester to design and execute tests for software usability. The role involves test planning, reporting defects, and collaborating with developers to verify fixes across Windows and Linux environments.

The tester will drive test case creation, participate in integration and regression testing, and contribute to automation tooling and troubleshooting guides as needed.

Tester will perform the tests, analyze the output & report issues or bugs to the development team. Tester interacts with the counterpart to understand the product requirement and for better test case design. Testers are results driven, has good communication skills for report preparation, and up-to-date knowledge of the product /design or software programs. Performs Integration, Regression, AdHoc, Guerilla, Certification and Compatibility Testing Creates test plan based on product or software requirements Creates issue or bug tracker for every project release using Jira. Verifies issue when developers provide a fix Be able to verify issue in any available OS platforms (Windows and Linux) Be able to verify issue in all available utilities, firmware, device, and previous build releases Provides support to developers when replicating or investigating an issue or bug Spearhead test cases among members when assigned to project lead role Creates automation tools for applicable casesProvides test strategies to improve test implementation Can provide software and hardware troubleshooting Maintains and creates troubleshooting guides
