Job summary

UPTC is seeking a multilingual translator to translate content between Mandarin, English, and Tagalog. The role emphasizes accurate, natural translations and cultural adaptation for various media formats such as scripts, captions, interviews, and articles.

The candidate should be fluent in all three languages, with strong editing and proofreading skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. Experience in media or content creation is preferred.

About you

• Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Tagalog, both written and spoken
• Strong understanding of Chinese, Filipino, and international cultures
• Excellent writing, proofreading, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesAble to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible and comfortable working with different types of content and audiences
• Previous experience as a translator, interpreter, editor, or language specialist is preferred
• Experience in media, content creation, journalism, video production, or editing is an advantage
