About the role

This role supports the development and implementation of category and sourcing strategies, supplier management, contract and price negotiations, and cost management within a procurement function. You will work closely with internal requesters, Legal, Finance, and other departments on cross-functional projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of category and sourcing strategies

• Conduct market research and identify relevant market trends, opportunities, and risks

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders

• Support supplier identification, evaluation, and selection

• Assist in supplier performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives

• Assist in negotiations involving pricing, commercial terms, and contracts

• Monitor compliance with agreed contractual and delivery terms

• Identify potential cost-saving and cost-reduction opportunities

• Assist with budget and cost analysis

• Support supply chain risk assessment and management

About you

• Fluent in Mandarin with excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Fluent in business English, both written and spoken

• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

• Procurement, purchasing, sourcing, supply chain, or related experience is an advantage but not required

• Knowledge of SAP, ERP, or eSourcing platforms such as Coupa is an advantage

• Good understanding of commercial terms, purchasing processes, contracts, compliance, or supplier management is an advantage
