Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering or related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin.
• Experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Sourcing, or Supplier Management.
• Experience sourcing suppliers or products from China.
• Willing to travel to China as part of the role.
• Open to junior-level candidates with China-sourcing exposure.
• Engineering background preferred for technical materials or specs.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify qualified suppliers, manufacturers, materials, and products from China based on business requirements.
• Handle purchasing and procurement activities from supplier sourcing through order coordination.
• Communicate and negotiate with China-based suppliers regarding pricing, specifications, availability, lead times, and commercial terms.
• Compare supplier quotations and help evaluate vendors based on cost, quality, reliability, and delivery capability.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand purchasing and material requirements.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
• Monitor purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to support timely delivery.
• Assist with supplier accreditation, documentation, and other procurement requirements.
• Conduct supplier and market research to identify alternative sources and potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Travel to China as required for supplier meetings, sourcing activities, negotiations, factory visits, and other procurement-related requirements.
