Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, corporate clients, or institutional clients, depending on the assigned portfolio.
• Develop new business opportunities through client acquisition, referrals, networking, and market development.
• Understand clients financial objectives, business needs, investment requirements, and risk profiles.
• Recommend appropriate banking, lending, investment, wealth management, and financial products based on client requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and ensure high-quality customer service.
• Monitor client portfolios and identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling relevant banking products and services.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, account reviews, and business discussions.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as Credit, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Investment, and Product teams to facilitate client requirements.
• Prepare and review financial information, credit applications, account documentation, and client proposals.
• Ensure all client activities and transactions comply with Hong Kong banking regulations, AML/KYC requirements, internal policies, and risk controls.
• Monitor the performance and quality of the assigned client portfolio and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, reports, and documentation.
• Keep updated on market trends, economic developments, financial products, and banking regulations in Hong Kong.
• Achieve assigned revenue, portfolio growth, client acquisition, and business development targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in relationship management within banking or financial services.
• Proven experience managing corporate, commercial, private banking, wealth management, or institutional clients.
• Strong knowledge of banking products, financial solutions, and credit/financial analysis.
• Experience in client acquisition and portfolio management is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of KYC, AML, compliance, and risk management requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong business development and relationship-building capabilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven banking environment.
• Fluency in English is required; Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be an advantage for the Hong Kong market.
• Amenable to relocate in Hong Kong
