Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking a senior corporate accounting leader to drive operational excellence and team performance within the accounting department. You will manage a team of accounting professionals, oversee complex client relationships, and ensure delivery of high-quality accounting services.

You will focus on people management, strategic planning, and delivering efficient, compliant operations while maintaining stakeholder satisfaction across clusters and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• 6+ years in corporate accounting, financial reporting, and team leadership.
• Experience in KPI management, capacity planning, and process quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead team performance with measurable goals and KPIs.
• Optimize capacity, allocation, and processes to meet SLAs.
• Ensure compliance with client contracts, SOWs, and quality standards.

Job Description

THIS ROLE

is responsible for driving operational excellence and team performance within the corporate accounting department. This role manages a team of accounting professionals, oversees complex client relationships, and ensures delivery of high-quality accounting services. The position focuses on people management, strategic planning, and operational efficiency while maintaining overall accountability for team performance and stakeholder satisfaction.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• You'll lead team performance, set measurable goals and KPIs, and provide regular feedback to drive high-quality service delivery and continuous improvement.
• You'll drive operational excellence by optimizing team capacity, resource allocation, process standardization, and quality assurance to meet service standards and SLAs.
• You'll ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, client agreements, SOWs, and quality requirements across all team operations.
• You'll build and maintain strong relationships with clusters, stakeholders, and clients while serving as the primary escalation point for complex issues and conflict resolution.
• You'll develop team capabilities by providing coaching, technical and non-technical guidance, onboarding support, training opportunities, and professional development plans.

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• You bring at least 6 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, team leadership, and service delivery management.
