Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking an Assistant Manager within Asset Owner Solutions to serve as the team’s technical expert and final review authority for complex fund accounting deliverables, ensuring accuracy and compliance for sophisticated client portfolios.

You will lead reviews, sign-off on outputs, drive technical excellence, guide the team, manage workloads, and maintain adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards while engaging stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance required; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience, including 4 years in fund accounting, performance and analytics, financial reporting, or audit.
• Strong expertise in technical accounting and ability to drive process improvements and innovation.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, statutory requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized with analytical skills and ability to lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Perform final reviews and sign-off on fund accounting reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Lead and support the team in resolving complex accounting issues, providing technical guidance and driving improvements.

This Role

As an Assistant Manager within Asset Owner Solutions, you will act as the team’s technical expert and final review authority for complex fund accounting deliverables, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high-quality service to sophisticated client portfolios. You will lead the review and sign-off of fund accounting outputs, drive technical excellence and process improvements, and provide authoritative guidance on advanced accounting matters. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement, oversight of data integrity, and leadership in managing team performance, while ensuring adherence to internal policies, regulatory standards, and client-specific requirements.

What You Will Do

• You’ll perform final reviews and sign off on fund accounting reports, calculations, and deliverables, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards.
• You’ll lead and support the team in resolving complex accounting issues, providing technical guidance and driving process improvements and innovation.
• You’ll manage day-to-day operations, including workload planning, meeting deadlines, and ensuring delivery against client SLAs and reporting timelines.
• You’ll act as a key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, addressing queries, resolving issues, and representing the team in meetings.
• You’ll oversee team performance and development through coaching, feedback, and scheduling, ensuring adherence to procedures, audit requirements, and best practices.

Qualifications

About You

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
• You have at least 6 years of relevant experience, including 4 years in fund accounting, performance and analytics, financial reporting, or audit, handling complex portfolios.
• You demonstrate strong expertise in technical accounting, with a proven track record as a subject matter expert driving process improvements and innovation.
• You possess in-depth knowledge of accounting standards, statutory requirements, and regulatory frameworks, with the ability to apply them in complex scenarios.
• You are detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong analytical skills, a proactive “can-do” attitude, and the ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and lead by example.
