IQ-EQ in Manila is seeking a senior leader to manage a fund accounting team of 10–20 professionals, driving service quality, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction.

You will mentor staff, optimize resource allocation, oversee performance, and execute strategic initiatives under senior leadership, with a hybrid work setup and a focus on risk management and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience, with 1–2 years in leadership.
• Strong fund accounting, regulatory, and risk management expertise.
• Experience in resource planning and leading onboarding, system implementations.
• Proven track record of driving operational excellence and KPI management.

Job Description

THIS ROLE

As a leadership role within Asset Owner Solutions, you will be responsible for managing a team of 10–20 fund accounting professionals while driving operational excellence, client satisfaction, and service delivery. You will provide technical and operational leadership, oversee team performance, and ensure high-quality outputs aligned with client and regulatory requirements. In this role, you will manage stakeholder relationships, optimize resource allocation, and execute strategic initiatives, while guiding your team through performance management, process improvements, and adherence to policies and business plans under the direction of senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• You’ll lead, coach, and develop a team of fund accounting professionals by setting performance goals, conducting reviews, and supporting career growth and talent decisions.
• You’ll oversee service delivery, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with SLAs, regulatory requirements, and client-specific governance standards.
• You’ll manage client relationships and act as the escalation point for complex issues, driving resolution with internal and external stakeholders.
• You’ll drive operational efficiency through resource planning, workload allocation, performance monitoring, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• You’ll execute strategic and operational priorities by implementing team initiatives, supporting change management, and ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and risk management frameworks.

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field, with a CPA (or equivalent) preferred, and at least 8 years of progressive experience, including 1–2 years in a leadership role.
• You have strong expertise in fund accounting processes, regulatory compliance, and risk management, with the ability to review and approve complex financial reports and client deliverables.
• You demonstrate experience in resource planning, capacity management, and leading operational initiatives such as client onboarding, system implementation, and process optimization.
• You have a proven track record of driving operational excellence through performance monitoring, KPI management, process improvements, and effective resolution of escalated client issues.
• You possess excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a results-driven mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lead teams and align with organizational goals.
