NCC Group in Manila invites a Management Accountant to join the finance team, leading month-end reporting for North America and providing support to Portugal and Germany. The role requires independence, ownership, and clear communication of financial insight to non-finance stakeholders.

You will deliver timely revenue accounting, cost reporting, payroll journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations while driving continuous improvement and ensuring global policy compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-qualification experience.

Position Title: Management Accountant

Location: Taguig City, Metro Manila – 2 days per week onsite

We are seeking a Management Accountant to join our finance team, playing a key role in month-end reporting, business partnering, and driving continuous improvement across financial processes. This role requires someone who can work independently, take ownership of issues through to resolution, and communicate financial insight clearly to non-finance stakeholders. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of financial accounting services for our North America business as well provide support some small finance activities for our European entities (Portugal and Germany), while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as part of the management accounts team to prepare the financial results for North America business, along with supporting smaller finance activities for Portugal and Germany
• Ensure revenue accounting is in line with applicable accounting standards, accurate and prepared on a timely basis.
• Prepare and reconcile accurate cost reporting and completeness of cost accruals and prepayments.
• Review, investigation and resolution of variances, supporting the Commercial Finance team in their understanding of the financial results
• Prepare all necessary journal entries with supporting documentation including North America payroll.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations in line with our Balance Sheet Reconciliation policy ensuring the integrity of the financial records.
• Complete detailed and regular reviews of accrued and deferred income to ensure accurate and recoverable.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and depreciation schedule. Responsible for calculating provisions such as bad debt provision and accrued income provisions. Ensure all spreadsheets, processes and desktop instructions are fully documented, regularly reviewed, updated and in line with Global procedures.
• Assist with year-end audit.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, proactively identifying and addressing any potential risks or issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the overall effectiveness of financial services delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including delivery teams, Finance Business Partners, payroll, cash and bank, AP, auditors, regulators, external accounting providers and other relevant parties.
• Support regular tax reporting through provision of figures and consideration of requirements.
• Developing and implementing global financial policies, procedures, and controls that align with global best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Conducting thorough analysis of existing processes, systems, and resources to identify areas for improvement and optimization within the new operating model.
• The role will be expected to carry out any other duties as reasonably requested by leadership from time to time.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Professional certification such as ACA, CIMA or ACCA is highly desirable. Educated to degree level
• Minimum of 2 years of post-qualified experience
• Strong knowledge of global financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS15 and ideally worked in a professional services firm.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions based on financial data and analysis.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to drive change and implement process improvements. Proficient in financial systems and software, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
