Job summary

SM City San Fernando Downtown is seeking a Resident Engineer to supervise the mall's equipment operations (MEPFS) ensuring safe and efficient utilities for daily operation.

You will plan and oversee repairs, maintenance, and replacements of MEPFS systems, manage contractors, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with government standards while coordinating with tenants and promoting safety through ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional license in related field is required.
• Experience in electro-mechanical maintenance and supervisory roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MEPFS operations and maintenance to ensure all mall mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems function safely.
• Manage contractors and projects: bidding, inspections and progress monitoring to meet standards and timelines.
• Ensure optimal utility performance by monitoring and adjusting water and power consumption.
• Support tenant coordination by reviewing MEPFS plans and conducting inspections.
• Promote safety and ongoing training initiatives.
