Job summary

SM Supermalls is seeking a Resident Engineer (PCO) to supervise mall equipment operations at SM City San Lazaro in Manila. The role involves planning and implementing repairs, maintenance, and replacements of MEPFS equipment and related systems to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient mall operations.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years experience in mall engineering or facilities management.
• Experience with planning, repairs, maintenance and replacements of MEPFS equipment and systems.
• Knowledge of environmental laws, permits and pollution control standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mall engineering operations by managing MEPFS systems, maintenance, and utilities to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant facility operations.
• Review tenant MEPFS plans to ensure adherence to mall design standards and support inspections for construction, renovation, and expansion works.
• Act as Pollution Control Officer ensuring full compliance with environmental laws, permits, and pollution control standards for air, water, and waste management.
• Implement preventive maintenance and safety measures for facilities and equipment while coordinating with contractors and government agencies.
• Promote continuous learning and team development through training participation, technical mentorship, and performance improvement initiatives.
