Job summary

SM Supermalls is seeking a facilities supervisor to oversee maintenance services for the mall, amenities, utilities, and equipment, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and orderliness aligned with company standards.

The role includes coordinating janitorial, landscaping, repairs, pest control, inspections, and incident response. Experience in building/property administration and a relevant engineering or maintenance degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental Engineering, Architecture, Building Maintenance Technology or related business course.
• Licensed Engineer preferred.
• At least 2 years of work experience in building/property administration or related field.
• Working knowledge in facilities management, housekeeping services, and engineering maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee janitorial, landscaping, minor repairs, and pest control activities; ensure compliance with policies and budget limits.
• Conduct regular inspections of mall facilities and utilities; coordinate repairs, monitor consumption, and ensure timely reporting and billing.
• Act as Safety Officer; manage incident response, coordinate with relevant departments, and ensure full compliance with safety procedures and documentation standards.
• Assist in tenant construction and renovation processes; review plans, inspect sites, and help resolve compliance issues.
• Serve as backup for key custodian and warehouse personnel for emergency item handling.
