Job summary

SM Engineering Design and Development Corp. in Pasay is seeking a licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to oversee mall utilities, manage service requests, and coordinate maintenance across multiple mall branches in Metro Manila.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of MEPFS, BCMS, BMS, and CMMS, with a strong background in facilities management and a willingness to be assigned to MOA or other SMEDD locations.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Licensed engineer is highly preferred.
• Background in facilities management is required.
• Knowledge of MEPFS, BCMS, BMS, CMMS is an advantage.
• Willing to be assigned in MOA, Pasay or other mall branches in Metro Manila.

Responsibilities

• Manages service requests affecting mall utilities.
• Conducts basic troubleshooting of major equipment and MEPFS utilities.
• Assigns maintenance personnel for tasks (replacement of busted lights, installation of spare parts, de-clogging, water leaks, etc.).
• Prepares documentation for Government Permits.
• Submits reports required for Government Permits validity.
• Evaluates tenant construction plans per SMEDD Standards through inspection.
• Prepares provisions on upgrading, conversion and relocation including coordination with Tenant Relations Officer.
• Provides support to incoming tenants on all MEPFS concerns and queries.
• Coordinates with third party contractors and mall operators for settlement of cases/issues.
• Monitors environmental compliance (SMR, DENR, LLDA, CMR and CCG).
• Prepares and presents the Mall's Energy Savings Data.
• Participates in Safety Audits with coordination to mall/store operations (Tenant Safety Audit, etc.).
