Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc. is seeking a Building Engineer to oversee maintenance, inspection and management of equipment and facilities across our commercial centers to ensure reliability and cost efficiency.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, is a licensed engineer, and has 2–3 years in Mall/Retail or Property Management. This on-site role requires hands-on planning and coordination with contractors.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s/College Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Professional engineering licensure (registered mechanical or electrical engineer).
2–3 years of experience in Mall/Retail or Property Management industries.

Responsibilities

Ensure equipment and facilities are in good working condition and cost-efficient.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities.
Implement preventive maintenance and undertake corrective maintenance.
Implement energy-conservation and cost-saving measures while monitoring utilities consumption.
Track and communicate work-request status and completion.
Monitor construction works and ensure adherence to guidelines.
Prepare/review plans, estimates, and scope of works for projects.
Monitor safety programs to prevent liability for the property.
Assist in presentation and technical briefings, testing, verification and validation processes.
