Job summary

RMRoque Group of Companies Inc is seeking a Mall Engineer to oversee operation, maintenance, safety, and administrative management of all mall building systems and facilities.

You will ensure HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems run efficiently, comply with regulations, and support a safe, comfortable environment for tenants and customers. This role also involves scheduling maintenance, handling tenant concerns, reporting, and budget monitoring to control costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical or Civil) is required.
• Engineering license is an advantage.
• At least 1 year of experience in building operations is required.
• Certificate in Safety trainings are an advantage.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp is beneficial.
• Knowledgeable of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire protection).
• Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings.
• Strong report preparation, budget monitoring and cost control skills.

About the role

The Mall Engineer is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, safety, and administrative management of all building systems and facilities within a mall building. This role ensures that the mall's mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and other engineering systems operate efficiently while complying with regulatory requirements and supporting a safe, comfortable environment for tenants and customers.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably Electrical or Civil Engineering)
• Engineering license is an advantage
• At least 1 year of experience in the same field
• Certificate in Safety trainings are an advantage
• Knowledge of Autocad and Sketchup
• Knowledgeable of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire protection)
• Knowledgeable of safety standards and building codes
• Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings
• Strong in report preparation, budget monitoring and cost control
• Capable of working independently, organized, systematic and attentive to details
