Job summary

RMRoque Group of Companies Inc is seeking a Mall Engineer to oversee operation and maintenance of all building systems in our mall facility. The role ensures HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems run efficiently while meeting safety and regulatory standards.

The candidate should have a bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical or Civil), at least 1 year of relevant experience, and familiarity with AutoCAD and SketchUp.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical or Civil preferred) and license is an advantage.
• At least 1 year of experience in the field.
• Certificate in safety trainings is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable of Autocad and Sketchup.
• Knowledgeable of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire protection).
• Knowledgeable of safety standards and building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings.
• Strong in report preparation, budget monitoring and cost control.
• Capable of working independently.
• Organized, systematic and attentive to details.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of all building systems and facilities.
• Ensure mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and HVAC systems operate efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support a safe and comfortable environment for tenants and customers.
• Schedule maintenance activities.
• Handle tenant concerns and requests.
• Prepare reports and monitor budgets.
• Monitor and control costs.
