Job summary

Ayala Malls in Manila invites applications for a Building Engineer who ensures mall facilities, equipment, and infrastructure are safe, reliable, and well-maintained. You will develop and execute preventive maintenance programs, ensuring all systems operate with minimal downtime and high efficiency to support exceptional guest experiences.

As part of the Facilities team, you will drive energy-management initiatives, monitor utilities, and maintain detailed records.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME) or Registered Electrical Engineer (REE).
Minimum 2–3 years of mall/retail, property management, or related experience.
Strong technical aptitude in building systems and preventive maintenance.
Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with relevant software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, and manage mall facilities and equipment for safety and efficiency.
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance per standards and schedules.
Monitor energy use and support energy-conservation initiatives.
Oversee construction, renovation, and repair activities per guidelines.
Coordinate with operations, leasing, and vendors to ensure service quality.
