Yutaka Manufacturing Philippines, Inc. (YMPI) is seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliability, safety, and optimal performance of our manufacturing equipment at Laguna Technopark, Biñan City, Laguna.

You will perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, install and commission machinery, and support machine improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and maintain smooth production

Qualifications

• Graduate in Industrial Technology, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, Mechatronics, or related technical course, or with relevant experience.
• 2–3 years of experience as Machine Maintenance Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment, production machinery, and industrial systems.
• Experience in troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings, electrical schematics, and machine manuals.
• Knowledge of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance practices.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Safety-conscious, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
• Able to work with Production and other teams, and to handle shifting/overtime as needed.
• Technical certifications or licenses are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Inspect machines to identify problems and prevent breakdowns.
• Diagnose malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
• Install, adjust, align, test, and commission machines as required.
• Maintain maintenance records and equipment history.
• Coordinate with Production to address equipment-related concerns and minimize downtime.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform necessary repairs.
• Identify recurring issues and propose corrective measures.
• Support machine improvement projects to enhance reliability and safety.
• Use and care for maintenance tools and spare parts properly.
• Follow safety policies and procedures in all tasks.
• Keep maintenance areas clean and organized.
• Perform other maintenance-related tasks as assigned.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Machine Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliability, safety, and optimal performance of our manufacturing equipment. The role is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting machine improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and maintain smooth production operations.

The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, good problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience in maintaining manufacturing equipment and machinery.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Conduct regular machine inspections to identify potential problems and prevent equipment breakdowns.

• Diagnose machine malfunctions and implement appropriate and timely corrective actions.

• Perform machine installation, adjustment, alignment, testing, and commissioning as required.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, equipment history, and other related documentation.

• Coordinate with Production and other concerned departments to address equipment-related concerns and minimize downtime.

• Respond to machine breakdowns and perform necessary repairs to restore equipment operation.

• Assist in identifying recurring equipment problems and recommend appropriate corrective or preventive measures.

• Support machine improvement and modification projects to enhance equipment reliability, safety, and productivity.

• Ensure proper use and care of maintenance tools, equipment, and spare parts.

• Follow company safety policies, maintenance procedures, and applicable workplace safety requirements.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper housekeeping within maintenance areas.

• Perform other maintenance-related tasks and responsibilities that may be assigned by management.

What We're Looking For

• Graduate of Industrial Technology, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, Mechatronics, or any related technical course, or with relevant experience in machine maintenance or related technical functions.

• With at least 2–3 years of experience as a Machine Maintenance Technician or in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance.

• Familiarity with various manufacturing equipment, production machinery, and industrial systems.

• Experience in troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, machine manuals, and related documentation.

• Knowledge of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance practices.

• Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Safety-conscious, disciplined, and detail-oriented.

• Able to work independently and effectively with Production and other support teams.

• Willing to work on shifting schedules, overtime, or during emergency breakdowns when required.

• Relevant technical certifications or licenses are an advantage.
