Job summary

JSK Hospitality is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to handle preventive maintenance for rooms, public areas, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and equipment across Marriott-branded properties. You will respond to work orders, repair fixtures, and maintain safety standards.

Ideal candidates have hands-on hotel maintenance experience, knowledge of plumbing/electrical/HVAC, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and basic computer skills for work-order systems.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on maintenance experience (hotel preferred).
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in various conditions.
• Basic computer skills for work-order systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on rooms, public areas, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and equipment.
• Respond promptly to work orders and guest-reported issues.
• Repair fixtures, furniture, and systems; paint and touch-up as needed.
• Maintain grounds, pool (if applicable), and exterior appearance.
• Ensure safety, fire, and life-safety systems compliance.
• Keep accurate logs, inventory of parts and tools, and coordinate vendors when required.
• Support Courtyard by Marriott standards for property condition and energy efficiency.
• Assist other departments during peaks or emergencies.
• Work flexible hours including on-call, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
