Job summary

Landers is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for its flagship store in Taguig, Philippines. You will oversee daily facility operations, utilities, and equipment to ensure reliable performance and safety compliance.

You will implement preventive maintenance programs and lead a team of maintenance staff, coordinating with suppliers while controlling costs and inventory. The role requires engineering education and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• College graduate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 2 years in maintenance or facilities management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance and facility operations for store equipment and utilities.
• Prepare requisitions for maintenance supplies, tools, and parts.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors on repairs and improvements.
• Supervise maintenance and facility staff, scheduling and performance.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs for generators, AC, AHUs, refrigeration, chillers, forklifts, pumps, motors.
• Monitor equipment performance to prevent breakdowns.
• Manage storage and inventory of maintenance supplies and parts.
• Control maintenance-related expenses (utilities, overtime, parts).
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety standards, and grooming requirements.

Job Description

We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of store facilities, equipment, and utilities. The successful candidate will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently, preventive maintenance schedules are implemented, and maintenance activities comply with company standards and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance and facility operations to ensure the proper functioning of store equipment, utilities, and facilities.

• Prepare and process requisitions for maintenance supplies, tools, and spare parts.

• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors regarding maintenance, repairs, and facility improvement projects.

• Supervise Maintenance and Facility personnel, including work assignments, scheduling, and performance evaluation.

• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs for equipment such as generators, air-conditioning units, AHUs, refrigeration systems, chillers, forklifts, pallet jacks, pumps, motors, and other store equipment.

• Monitor equipment performance and operating parameters to identify potential issues and prevent equipment breakdowns.

• Ensure the proper storage, safekeeping, and inventory monitoring of maintenance supplies, tools, spare parts, and equipment.

• Monitor and control maintenance-related expenses, including utilities, supplies, overtime, and spare parts.

• Supervise cleaning and housekeeping activities within and outside the store premises.

• Train, coach, and develop team members to improve their technical skills and work performance.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, grooming requirements, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• College graduate, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Preferably with at least 2 years of relevant work experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related industry.

• With good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledgeable in equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.

• Able to coordinate effectively with suppliers, contractors, and team members.

• With good organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
