Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. is hiring an Equipment Maintenance Supervisor in the Philippines. You will oversee production equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation and drive preventive maintenance strategies across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

You will lead a team of engineers and technicians, coach staff, and collaborate with cross-functional groups to meet schedules while upholding ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards and safety practices at all times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience as an Equipment Maintenance Engineer.
• Expertise in maintenance processes and spare parts management.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic drawings.
• Experience designing maintenance strategies and responding to faults.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic failures.
• Interpret mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic diagrams for troubleshooting.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Drive lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and plant layout planning.
• Apply and uphold QMS (ISO 9001), EMS/EHS (ISO 14001), and safety standards.
• Coach developing engineers and technicians on equipment requirements.
• Demonstrate leadership, manage change, and motivate team members.
• Decide on task prioritization and lead the team to meet schedules.
• Delegate tasks to cross-functional teams.
• Prepare technical reports and conduct presentations.
• Communicate effectively and manage stakeholder expectations, negotiations, and persuasion.
• Conduct strategic planning and crisis management when equipment issues arise.

What Your Background Should Look Like

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience as an Equipment Maintenance Engineer.
• Expertise in equipment maintenance processes and technical accessories.
• Experience designing maintenance strategies, responding to faults, performing inspections, managing spare parts, and supporting continuous equipment coverage.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic drawings.
• Familiarity with stamping, molding, plating, and assembly machines.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and the ability to explain technical ideas.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership experience in managing people, leading teams, and achieving results.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and practices.
• Computer literate (MS Office, email, communication tools).
