Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a maintenance supervisor to oversee line technicians, plan shift schedules, and manage downtime. You will coordinate with production, QA and other departments to resolve major line issues and ensure proper machine calibration and inventory control.

The role requires leadership, strong electromechanical knowledge, and the ability to monitor team performance and implement improvements in a factory setting in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Leadership and interpersonal communication skills are required.
• Experience in industrial practice is preferred.
• Strong background in electromechanical equipment is desired.

Responsibilities

• Supervise line technicians on daily activities.
• Plan technician shift scheduling.
• Handle major downtime issues and coordinate solutions with teams.
• Report line issues and planned activities to the maintenance manager.
• Coordinate with production, QA and related departments for major line issues.
• Review machine spare parts and inform stockroom for inventory.
• Monitor calibration of machines and equipment.
• Be responsible for incoming/outgoing machines in the factory.
• Coordinate with suppliers on spare parts and projects.
• Monitor team performance, including tardiness and leaves, per company rules.
• Oversee machine modifications to improve processes.
• Perform other duties assigned by superiors.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Supervise all line technician on their daily activities

2. Plan for technician shift scheduling

3. Handle major downtime issue

4. Reports to maintenance manager for all line issues and plan activities

5. Coordinate with production, QA and other related department for major line issue. Join the team for solving any line issues.

6. Review machine spare parts and inform stockroom for additional inventory

7. Monitors calibration of machines and equipments.

8. Responsible for incoming and outgoing machine in the factory

9. Coordinate with supplier on spare parts and any related projects

10. Monitor team performance such as tardiness, leaves and non conformance with company's rules and regulation.

11. Responsible for machine modification to enhance machine process

12. Perform any related work as assigned by his direct superior

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

13. BS Electronics and Communications Engineering graduate.

14. At least 5 years of experience in industrial practice.

15. With strong background in electromechanical equipment.

TRAINING/SKILLS NEEDED

1. Basic computer skills.
2. Good leadership skill and interpersonal communication skills.
