Job summary

RSS is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner based near Clark Pampanga to lead mobile fleet planning, scheduling, and work management. You will ensure compliance with master data standards and maintenance requirements while coordinating with stakeholders and managing CMMS data.

Responsibilities include establishing planning processes, configuring PM tasks, and monitoring fleet maintenance to minimize downtime. Proficiency with Pronto CMMS and Power BI reporting will be highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within mobile fleet and/or fixed plant environments.
• Strong understanding of equipment maintenance, safety systems, processes and procedures in transport/mobile plant/mining.
• Experience with CMMS systems (e.g., Pronto CMMS) and data management.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Group Asset Manager, this role is responsible for effectively managing the delivery of Mobile Fleet Planning, Scheduling, and Work Management processes.

The role focuses on maximizing resource utilization across the business while ensuring compliance with business requirements, master data standards, work order management, and statutory requirements.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and continuously improve maintenance planning and scheduling processes.
• Set up and modify Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks, including servicing and inspection schedules, in line with business requirements.
• Scope required maintenance activities, including repair, preventive, predictive, and design-out work, to support maintenance budgets and forecasts.
• Assist in developing and maintaining standardized build specifications for mobile fleet assets, including specifications for new machine types.
• Load and maintain assets within the Pronto CMMS and manage scheduled oil sampling through CAT SOS.
• Maintain accurate asset master data, maintenance history, job records, technical information, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate weekly work order servicing schedules and forecast upcoming maintenance requirements to minimize fleet and equipment downtime.
• Run forecast and validation checks to identify incorrect operating hours, scheduling issues, and inaccurate maintenance forecasting.
• Continually improve planning, scheduling, data management, and job reporting processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Manage work orders and associated service and inspection documentation within the CMMS.
• Communicate and negotiate effectively with internal stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Order parts, process quotations, and support procurement of goods and services.
• Support the purchasing team with purchase order processing and resolution of invoice or procurement discrepancies.
• Manage the tyre process, including monthly tyre surveys, RIM register maintenance, and coordination of tyre change documentation.
• Develop and maintain a centralized database for service and inspection sheets.
• Conduct QA/QC checks of Power BI KPI reporting and provide weekly reporting of identified issues to relevant Area Managers.
• Manage capital projects within Pronto, including opening capital projects and coordinating cost approvals.
• Manage hire equipment within Pronto, including supplier details, minimum hours, rates, and standing work orders.
• Reopen work orders when required for purchase order receipting.
• Monitor oil samples and machine alerts and communicate required actions to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain and manage required asset documentation through document linking and repository processes.

Future Responsibilities

• Produce weekly site planning Gantt charts.
• Conduct weekly planning meetings with site teams to review forecasts and upcoming maintenance plans.
• Manage the register of all registerable plant and equipment in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Collect and maintain required compliance documentation and register applicable assets with DMIRS.
• Create and manage PM tasks relating to statutory and compliance requirements.
• Provide Pronto maintenance training to new employees.

Knowledge & Experience Required

• Previous experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within a mobile fleet and/or fixed plant environment.
• Strong understanding of equipment maintenance, safety systems, processes, and procedures within a transport, mobile plant, or mining environment.
• High level of experience with CAT SIS, CAT SOS, Pronto CMMS, and other OEM systems.
• Strong understanding of work order management, asset maintenance, scheduling, and fleet data management.
• Experience with reporting and data analysis, including Power BI, is highly regarded.
• Exposure to Australian clients, companies, or working environment is preferred
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers.
