Job summary
ACCION LABS PHILIPPINES, INC. seeks a skilled Mainframe Developer with 3–5 years of hands-on IBM z/OS experience. The role focuses on developing and supporting COBOL-based applications using CICS, JCL, and DB2 in enterprise banking or insurance environments.
The ideal candidate will troubleshoot mainframe processes, optimize performance, and contribute to system modernization initiatives while ensuring stable production support across critical workloads.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 3 to 5 years experience as Mainframe Developer.
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM z/OS operating system.
- Proven experience developing and supporting CICS online applications.
- Solid COBOL programming experience in enterprise environments.
- Experience writing, modifying, and troubleshooting JCL jobs.
- Strong knowledge of DB2 databases and embedded SQL.
- Experience with VSAM files and mainframe data structures.
- Ability to debug, test, and optimize mainframe programs.
- Experience supporting production systems in banking or insurance.
