Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Experience supporting COBOL Mainframe in production.
• Experience with incident management and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Ability to work independently with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support for COBOL Mainframe systems and ensure the stability of business-critical applications.
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve production incidents within agreed service levels.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to minimize recurring issues.
• Troubleshoot batch processing failures, online transaction issues, and system performance problems.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, database, and business teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Monitor application and system health, proactively identifying potential risks and performance concerns.
• Analyze application logs, system outputs, and error reports to diagnose issues.
• Support application deployments, maintenance activities, and production releases.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Share technical knowledge and best practices with team members to improve operational efficiency.
