Job summary

Flexible Packaging Products Corporation in Valenzuela, Philippines is seeking a skilled Machinist/Fabricator to support machine shop operations. The role requires operating lathe, milling and shaper machines, inspecting outputs, and adhering to safety and SOPs. The contract is 5 months, with potential for permanent status.

Candidates should have at least a Vocational Diploma in Engineering Mechanical and 2 years of experience; willing to work on-site in Valenzuela, Metro Manila.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate in Engineering Mechanical or equivalent and/or Graduate of Industrial technician.
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field.
• Experience in Machine shop works, operating LATHE, MILLING, SHAPER machines, fabrication works, welding, gas cutting and brazing.

Responsibilities

• Assist Immediate Superiors to achieve Quality objectives.
• Review Work Requests to check details of specifications for the jobs/tasks assigned.
• Prepare and check machines (lathe, milling grinder, shaper) and materials for the job.
• Operate the machine according to job specifications in the Work Requests.
• Monitor machine condition and quality of output during operation.
• Prepare daily accomplishment report.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area and tools.
• Comply with Work Instructions and SOPs and safety standards.
• Perform cross functional activities as needed.
• Attend meetings and training as required.
• Perform other duties related to current job.
