Job summary

V2X is seeking a skilled machinist in the Philippines to perform precision machine work on military vehicle parts. You will lay out work from blueprints, set up and operate a range of conventional and CNC equipment, and select appropriate speeds and tooling to meet exact tolerances.

Ideal candidates have 5 years in machine shops, CNC knowledge, and strong math and communication skills. The role is on-site in a demanding, production environment with PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Must be a Philippine citizen.
• Must have a valid Philippine driver's license.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Five years' experience in machine shop with various machinery.
• Knowledge of CNC operations and programming; strong math skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs machine work on military vehicle parts and fabrications using machine tools and precision handwork.
• Lays out and selects tools, sequences operations, and sets up equipment to maintain tolerances.
• Sets up and operates lathes, milling machines, grinders, and related tools.
• Determines speeds, feeds and coolants for cutting and finishing operations.
• Maintains dimension accuracy with precision measuring instruments and shop math.
