Job summary

Littelfuse is seeking a skilled Machinist to set up, operate and maintain machine shop equipment to produce precision parts, jigs and fixtures.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience, an associate degree or equivalent, and familiarity with CAD/CAM programming, CNC Turn-Mill and CNC Milling machines. You will collaborate with teams to ensure quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, two year technical/trade degree, or equivalent preferred.
• Two to five years of experience.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong technical skills.
• Detail orientated.
• Experience with CAD/CAM programming preferred.
• With knowledge to operation of CNC Turn-Mill and CNC Milling Machines.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, maintain and operate machine shop equipment including tools to support the machining requirement of the operation.
• Design tools and mechanical devices by observing, receiving and obtaining information from relevant sources, materials, tools and equipment.
• Perform test, evaluation and modification for improvement and quality of units.
• Collaborate with different teams to achieve objective.
• Other duties as assigned.

Machinist

The primary responsibilities of this position will be to set up and operate a variety of machine / tools to produce precision parts, jigs and fixtures. May also fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine / tools or maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining safety rules and procedures.
