Job summary

onsemi is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer in the Philippines to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on Probe, AOI, and TnR equipment. The role emphasizes reliability improvement, safe operation, and collaboration with Manufacturing and Engineering teams.

Qualifications include a Electronics/Electrical degree, strong multitasking, and familiarity with major test and handling platforms. Onsite work with a focus on uptime and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical engineering
• Proficiency in basic electronics and Microsoft applications Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge in product testing and troubleshooting preferred
• Experience with Probe, KGD, AOI and TnR processes is an advantage
• Interpersonal skills, resilience, adaptability, trainable, and able to coordinate with cross-functional teams
• Strong multitasking, problem-solving and time-management skills
• Familiarity with Test Platforms: ASK1K, ASL3K, ETS364, ETS800, Advantest, Powertech, Fettest testers
• Familiarity with Handler Platforms: Prober P8-XL, WDF-DP, Precio XL TEL; TnR Machines (DS10K, DS15K, DS20K)
• Familiarity with AOI Machines: ICOS, Camtek

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on Probe, SiC KGD, AOI, and TnR equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Execute scheduled PM activities per maintenance plans, procedures, and safety rules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment, hardware, and system-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Support equipment setup, qualification, calibration, recovery, and buy-off activities.
• Monitor equipment health, analyze failure trends, and recommend reliability improvements.
• Support machine improvement initiatives for uptime, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Process, Product, Test, and Equipment Eng teams to address maintenance concerns.
• Assist in root cause analysis and preventive/corrective actions for recurring equipment failures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment history, downtime reports, and PM documentation.
• Support EFAR, FMEA, risk assessment, error-proofing, and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, EHS, and operational standards.
• Provide technical support during installations, upgrades, engineering evaluations, and new product introductions.
• Assist spare parts management and ensure readiness of critical equipment.
• Participate in PM transformation initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical or its equivalent Technical Courses/Technology Graduates
• Proficiency in basic electronics and Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Preferably with knowledge in product testing and troubleshooting
• Work experience in Semiconductor Probe, KGD, AOI and TnR process is an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal skills, resilient, adaptable, trainable and can coordinate effectively with cross functional team
• Flexible and must have a strong mutitasking, problem solving and time management skills
• Familiarity with any of the Test Platform: ASK1K, ASL3K, ETS364, ETS800, Advantest, Powertech, Fettest Testers
• Familiarity with any of the Handler Platform: Prober (P8-XL, WDF-DP, Precio XL TEL), TnR Machine (DS10K,DS15K,DS20K Muehlbauer , MI10, MI30, MI40), Semight PB6400, CSM2000, CSM3000 Wafer Marker Machine
• Familiarity with any of the AOI Machine: ICOS, Camtek

Responsibilities
