Job summary

Philippine Manufacturing Co. of Murata, Inc. in Tanauan City, Batangas, is seeking a Machine Senior Engineer for a full-time role to design, develop and optimise manufacturing equipment for high-quality components.

You will lead technical initiatives, oversee installation and testing of new machinery, and mentor junior engineers to ensure safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement across production lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 4+ years of professional experience in machine engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, control systems, and automation technology.
• Proficiency in CAD software and industrial automation tools.
• Excellent understanding of safety standards and regulations relevant to manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise manufacturing machinery and equipment systems to meet production requirements and quality standards.
• Conduct technical analysis and troubleshooting of machine performance issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Lead and oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of new machinery and production systems.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including equipment specifications, operational manuals, and maintenance procedures.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure machinery operates at peak efficiency and meets safety standards.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technical staff, providing guidance on engineering best practices and problem-solving methodologies.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation projects to enhance production efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Ensure compliance with electrical, electronic, and safety regulations applicable to manufacturing equipment.
• Manage equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate with maintenance teams to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and equipment upgrades to enhance production capabilities.

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Senior Engineer to join the engineering team at Philippine Manufacturing Co. of Murata, Inc. This is a full-time position based in Tanauan City, Batangas. As a Machine Senior Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and optimisation of manufacturing equipment and machinery systems. This position is integral to our production operations and directly contributes to the company's commitment to delivering high-quality electronic components. You will work on complex engineering challenges, lead technical initiatives, and mentor junior engineering staff to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement.
